About this plant

Cotoneaster horizontalis is a beautiful deciduous shrub with a distinctive herringbone pattern of branches, making it an excellent groundcover or wall-trained specimen. Its small, glossy green leaves turn brilliant shades of red and orange in autumn, followed by an abundance of bright red berries that persist into winter. Ideal for rockeries, banks, or cascading over walls in an Irish garden, it provides seasonal colour and attracts birds.
