About this plant

Cordyline australis, often called the cabbage palm, forms a fountain of long, narrow evergreen leaves, and with age a clear trunk. It is a familiar sight in coastal Irish towns and gardens, and brings a subtropical feel to borders, pots and patios. Scented cream flowers may appear on mature plants in summer.
