About this plant

Acer platanoides, the Norway maple, is a vigorous, hardy tree with broad, five-lobed leaves and clusters of lime-yellow flowers in early spring before the leaves open. It forms a dense, rounded crown that gives good summer shade and turns clear yellow in autumn. Tolerant of wind and most soils, it suits larger gardens, driveways and avenues.
